BLOOM & SONG, an esteemed event planning company in Hong Kong, is seeking a skilled Wedding Planner specialized in coordinating both Chinese and Western weddings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing weddings of diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, styles, and cultural traditions for both Chinese and Western weddings.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of the wedding, including venue selection, décor, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
Provide comprehensive guidance on wedding etiquette, customs, and traditions specific to Chinese and Western ceremonies.
Liaise with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure all services align with client expectations and budget constraints.
Ensure seamless execution of events, managing timelines, schedules, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Oversee the coordination of pre-wedding events, rehearsals, and post-wedding activities in accordance with cultural norms.
Offer personalized recommendations and innovative ideas to create memorable and unique wedding experiences.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Wedding Planner, with a focus on organizing Chinese and Western weddings.
Deep understanding of Chinese and Western wedding traditions, customs, and protocols.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to handle any challenges throughout the planning process.
Detail-oriented with a creative flair for designing visually stunning and culturally authentic wedding settings.
Proficient in time management, multitasking, and working under pressure to deliver exceptional results.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
Certification in Wedding Planning or relevant training courses is a plus.
